Cabarita Boardriders Club, one of the original on the Tweed
Coast, has built itself a reputation for being a friendly
and family orientated club.
Since 1991, Cabarita Boardriders have been steadily growing
in strength and have taken the initiative in the development
of our young guns,– the future of surfing. 10 years
ago Caba hosted the inaugral ‘into summer junior challenge”
as there wasn’t many competitions for the groms on
the Tweed Coast. We now have Rip Curl as a major sponsor
and have 2 days of action packed surfing with juniors frothing
to win. Josh Fuller, Steve Powell and Chippa have all been
past winners of the 18 years division.
We’ve had world junior champs, Aussie title holders
and numerous state titles but, above all Caba just wants
to have FUN!!! And you better believe it- we know how to
do just that!
